In 2004, RelaDyne Reliability Services started working with a large global refining company that had various lubrication related problems. To resolve one problem, RelaDyne Reliability Services demonstrated the effectiveness of its LubriMist® oil mist systems using a small oil mist demonstration unit on one small steam turbine with a MTBF of on average, 4 months. Following the application of oil mist, the turbine operated for over two years without intervention.

Pre-Commissioning Cleaning and Flush for Reliable Performance

A leading manufacturer of axles and wheels was installing new hydraulic unit piping for a blast furnace in their manufacturing plant. This piping required a pre-commissioning chemical cleaning and high velocity flush, and RelaDyne Reliability Services was contracted to complete the work.

Commissioning Services for Dependable Production

A world leader in oil and gas production was preparing a new overseas offshore platform and needed commissioning services completed at the shipyard prior to deployment. Due to the relationship RelaDyne Reliability Services had with this customer downstream, RelaDyne Reliability Services was awarded the project for flushing and filling services for 40 different assets including centrifugal compressors, production pumps, gas turbines, crane hydraulic systems and pipe barn hydraulic systems.

Getting Up to Specification with Reliability Services

In 2007, a leading refining and chemicals company purchased a facility that had not conducted any lubrication maintenance or oil mist lubrication on their plant equipment since 1989. In 2009, this company hired RelaDyne Reliability Services to provide lubrication services.

Cleanliness Specifications Surpassed in Ethylene Units

In 2013, maintenance personnel from a large chemical company in Brazil approached RelaDyne Reliability Services personnel at a large industry trade show in Sao Paulo to discuss contamination problems in the lubrication systems of their centrifugal compressors in their plant ethylene units.
